"The wind blows to the south and turns to the north; round and round it goes, ever returning on its course".

Dry (check), Too Cold (check), Winter (Yep)

IMAGE: This is a color depiction included in today's post which shows the morning temperatures where they were generally at their lowest this morning.

TODAY: An overly cool airmass within the NW wind coveyor belt contained within a dry air mass will yield clear skies and cool temps through the next 10 days.

TONIGHT: Another cool night, much like last night's with a low mostly in the 40s central and south.

WEEKEND: About a 5 degree warming through Saturday and Sunday, with reinforcements on the way for mid-week next week, but remaining dry.

Not much else to elaborate on today. Still looking toward Christmas without too much concern in regards to severe winter weather...but do see a hint of a system to form off the SE Texas coast around day 12...bears watching.
